SAMS Vaults
SAMS vaults are the inaugural product of RVS. These vaults require a single asset be deposited and automated into several underlying strategies. This provides access to diverse yield through several underlying farms, all in a single gas-efficient click. SAMS stands for Single Asset Multi Strategy vaults.
SAMS vaults will include three at launch including USDC, BTC.b, and sAVAX. Future SAMS vaults will be ratified by protocol governance.
These vaults will be the first product taken cross chain — each new deployment will be ratified by protocol governance.
MASS Vaults
MASS vaults are akin to traditional ETFs, providing a single ticker with a diversified basket of goods acting as the underlying collateral. The key distinction between ETFs and MASS vaults is that unlike in ETFs, each asset in a MASS vault is yield bearing. This means users constantly generate yield while balancing asset exposure automatically.
MASS stands for Multi Asset Single Strategy vaults. These vaults are multi asset as they derive yield across several underlying currency positions. Each underlying currency in the vault has a single underlying strategy per asset. This is key for proper risk management.
The first MASS vaults will come in a later phase after the inaugural SAMS vaults launch.
